Not registered on network - Making calls

Today it has been impossible to make a call. All I get is 'Not registered on network'. I have tried resetting as suggested in a previous post but this is not working. According the the Plusnet site there are no maintenance issues. What else can I try? I am an NHS worker and really need my mobile right now.

Plusnet use the EE network, so you might also want to go look at the EE website for issues. My brother lives outside York, and last month had 2 or 3 days without coverage: EE were doing work on the 'local' mast (I'm guessing 5G upgrades).
