No roaming in EU - Issue with Plusnet and not third party vendors

Had an issue when travelling in Berlin last week with no Service being shown when everyone else in the group who were not with Plusnet faced no issue. Ran through basic trouble shooting, reboot, hard restart, switching on/off airplane mode. I can get service but no data.
I contacted Plusnet yesterday and was assured all the settings were fine and there would not issue when I am in France this week. But sorry to say, I am facing the same issue again.
Does not seem as though Plusnet give a [-Censored-] about these issues having looked at the number of posts in the community complaining about the very same issue.
I think it is time to get the PAC code and move on.

Hi @Jethwa,

I'm really sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues. Please could you advise what troubleshooting steps have already been taken in order to try and resolve these issues? Also, for clarification, did you briefly come back to the UK and then go back to France? If so, did the data work as normal whilst in the UK? We'd be happy to take a further look into this with us and so that we can do so, please could send me a private message across with the following details attached:

 

- Your Mobile Number
- Your Full Name (And whether or not you're the account holder)
- Your Full Address (Including Postcode)

Returned back to UK on 24th Oct. In France since 27th Oct.
Airplane mode deactivated and then activated.
Phone has been rebooted.
Phone has been switched off and sim taken out
re-inserted, powered back on.
I have network, just no service for data exactly the same as what I had in Berlin.
Note, I have no issues with an O2 sim in the phone. Just the plusnet sim.

Oh yes, we also contacted plusnet on 500 but were told to call when we return back to UK. This is the type of troubleshooting that takes place with plusnet then it kind of defeats the objective.

@Jethwa  to be clear, did data work when you were back in the UK ?

Also, have you ever reached your Smart Cap in the past ?

Yes the data worked when returning to the UK. And yes smart cap limit had been reached in the past which caused the data issues when the new month started, however, that was usually resolved once network settings have been reset on the phone and yes this was also tried yesterday when we called in.

@Jethwa  have you pm'd @TheMightyAJ with the information he needed to be able to access your account ?

The PN staff on here are very experienced and are often able to help when the normal support helpline has failed
