No mobile signal at new home

I've just moved to [Removed] and I have no signal at all. My screen shows emergency calls only. Luckily I have wifi but to call or text I have to go out to the street.
I don't suppose there is a solution except to change providers but Plusnet says there is coverage here so how will I know the others would work?
Any suggestions other than get a sim card from each and try them

Re: No mobile signal at new home

Thanks. According to the map I am in a red area. I assume that means no signal no matter who I'm with.

That's the only way I'm afraid, opensignal is no more use than the carriers own apps, they're suggestive only. Use the apps to get an idea of which is best and then test the top 2 or 3.

BTW EE have access to the 800Mhz band which may help but it's only for just a few phones (bought from themselves).
