No mobile internet on ulefone note 7p

Hi all. I have a ulefone note 7p phone which runs on Android. I had a ee SIM card and today I had my number ported over to my Plusnet SIM. Everything is working except 3g/4g mobile internet. I phoned 500 and guy I spoke to had no idea about my phone (I assumed as much). He said to reset mobile data settings and check phone set to preferred network of Plusnet. Which I have done still with no joy. I've also setup a new APN with the details on plusnets website but still not working. Any one else have any ideas what I can try. The phone worked perfectly with the ee sim. Tia

Did you get any response from Plusnet on this issue? I've got the same problem with a Samsung phone.

No given up with plusnet and ordered a new handset. Got fed up with them there technical knowledge only goes as far as reset settings and switch phone on and off. They haven't got a clue
