I've had no mobile coverage since yesterday (can't be sure of what time) and it's just saying emergency calls only. I need my mobile for work as I have clients who contact me on a daily basis on it! I've tried turning my phone off and on, searching mobile networks, and switching to 2g/3g service and no luck!

I'm sorry to see you haven't got any mobile coverage. If this is still a problem, I'd recommend putting your postcode into EE's coverage checker Here and clicking the check status button to see if there's a known fault in the area.
Let us know what it says.
