A quick update:

Replacement sim arrived yesterday

Phoned Plusnet to activate it - they said a fix is taking place tonight, keep original sim in the phone

Today - I have 4G data - hooray...

I hope everyone that has had these issues is also now receiveing data and it's good to read on the 'sticky' thread that we will receive a refund. Although Plusnet could hardly charge us for what they could not provide, could they....

Data working and number ported successfully. Plusnet got there in the end.

Did you get this sorted in the end please, Angie ? Are you still with PlusNet ?

Yes, sorted as promised and yes still with Plusnet.  No problems since with two sims, one in an iPhone and one in an Android

Plusnet sorted at their end it was a network issue
