No data on new phone

I recently bought a new phone - Samsung A41. I swapped my sim over last Friday, but I haven't been able to get the data working. The phone is not locked to any network. It had been working with no issue in my Moto G5, but unfortunately that phone is out of action.
I've reset the APN settings to default
Then I tried entering the settings as listed on the FAQ section.
I've also read the various threads on here with different settings - nothing has worked so far. My husband has a Galaxy S10 and the sim does not work in his phone either.
I've saved the settings and restarted the phone between each APN change just in case but I'm not getting anywhere. I'd be grateful for any suggestions you have.

As of today I also have 1 bar of signal showing but SMS messages will not send. This is using Plusnet's recommended APN settings. No known issues in my area on Plusnet or EE websites.
