Hi
I am a new customer installing Sim number 1 in my iPhone XR (OS15.1) about 3 weeks ago. No data connection, called and followed 3 sets of instructions re settings. Nothing worked. Requested new SIM, installed yesterday, turned phone on and off, checked mobile data settings, still no data connection.
Out of the four members of staff I spoke to none seemed confident they could resolve the problem.
Help!!

Ok, fixed thanks to left field approach, nothing to do with mobile data settings. Fab woman in the Merseyside team knew it was the old ‘profile’ attached to vpn.
Settings: search ‘profile’; select ‘vpn profiles’; you will see your last provider; press that; press ‘delete’
Boom! Working fine without even switching off and on again.
Happy days - only took 6 phone calls and 2 SIMS
