No Service on my Phone (Solutions are greatly appreciated)πŸ‘

Hello, my new iPhone hasn't been able to receive calls, send or receive SMS messages, call my voice mail and call people. From reading many forums I know this is a common problem. My iPhone displays the message 'No Service' and 'Emergency Calls Only' and says it's on the EE network which I know is connected to Plusnet. I have been using this SIM for over 3 years now and have had no issues until now. The SIM stills works on my old phone however not in my new one. I have gone through all the Plusnet community forums however none of them have managed to fix the issue.

The forums tell you to go into the phone's settings, network/mobile data, then in the SIM settings there is an option to Automatically select networks which is usually set to On. If you click on that you can manually force the phone to select Plusnet - several networks are shown. Click on the Plusnet option and then put the connection back to Automatic. Of course this didn't work for me and it still says No Service and Network provider is EE.

If you have any other suggestions to fix this issue especially for an iPhone (SE 2020) please reply to this forum. But if not hopefully this helped you and raised an important issue to Plusnet.

Here are some Plusnet community forums about this issue that I have used:

Thanks a lot your time is appreciated sincerely,

Yeah I had this problem and followed the forums it worked but I have an android phone not a iPhone.  I don't have any solutions but hopefully some other people do. Your post was very helpful and structured well. I also just made an account to help some people out and to reply to you. thanks

It looks like you've quoted the workaround that I've found for my Android phone - sorry that it doesn't work on your iPhone.

Annoyingly I've lost signal on my phone twice in the last week.

It was suggested that I try to use another phone when this happens so having just lost signal I put the SIM in my old Samsung and absolutely nothing happened. I put the SIM back in my Pixel and manually forced the connection to plusnet and it is happy again, at least for now.

Thanks for the reply. It would be great if they was an iPhone solution or maybe there is just something wrong with my phone as it is refurbished. But hopefully the forum has given you a permanent fix on your phone.πŸ‘

I've had the same issue, tried every suggestion known to man. Finally was able to use my parents plusnet sim and it worked they only live less than a mile away so this is a plusnet issue.
