No Service on Phone for 6 Months

I think I've exhausted all avenues now. The annoying thing is I checked the coverage map before taking out the contract and it said good coverage indoors and outdoors.
Could the number not have ported properly? Sorry, just thinking of ideas out loud.

From my reading it sounds like a mechanical connection  problem. The sort of thing you might get with short phone contacts and a bent SIM not sitting flat in the carrier.

Maybe time to try a replacement SIM?

I sent a fb message to plusnet and they refuse to send a replacement sim card as I'm not the account holder.

Ah. I'd recommend asking your mum to call us (from another phone) or you can call us with your mum there with you.

We'll be able to help you over Facebook, if you're an authorised user/nominee (That's something she'll have to ask us)

If the 4G coverage is good indoors and outdoors what does the coverage map say for 3G?

Aside from the possibility of a faulty sim card etc. I was curious to know how good the 3G signal was as PN don't do 4G calling just 3G.

That rules out a poor 3G signal then, fingers crossed a new sim card solves the issue.
