So when am I getting my mobile data working?

I haven't had the chance to open up your account yet and check for any updates Iv, as we'll need to run through security as some time has passed since we last spoke.

It’s been 4 weeks so far. People build house extensions in that time frame. So when exactly will I have my mobile data working Today? Tomorrow? Can Plusnet just ne honest with me and stop dragging me on - either you can fix it or not? Which one is it?

I'm terribly sorry for your frustration Iv but I wouldn't be able to share any information in a public forum as it would be account-specific. I couldn't even share this privately with you until we were past security, due to our strict Data Protection rules.

Have same issue as other users so paid for 2 months with no data.
IPhone 5SE
Moved from another network where mobile data worked fine.
Ported number to new Plusnet SIM.
Unable to use mobile data.
Tried many suggestions and eventually reset / wiped iPhone to new user settings.
Data then worked for 1 day before failing again.
However data IS accessible if iPhone used as a mobile hotspot.
Can @MichaelWilliams do his magic to fix this?

I'm very sorry to hear you can't receive data Jetmender but I'm sure we can get this sorted. Please send me a Private Message with your Plusnet mobile number and I'll open up the account and have a look

Another thing to try...

If you have an iPhone, which was previously used on a different network your previous network may have installed some 'WAP' Settings, deleting the settings may help.

Goto Settings -> General  under iTunes Wi-Fi Sync and VPN you may have another option called 'Profiles'  Click on this, you will then see your old network.  Delete the profile.  You may now be able to use the Plus.net web.

Hello Michael,

I have the same issue - my 4G data stopped after my number was ported over and have tried many resets including factory reset and APN settings as reccomended by plusnet. I have no text service either.

Hopefully you have a magic fix - you seem to be the guy to go to..

Another one here with no data 😞

No been able get a data connection since having the sim.

Tried all the variations on APN on the forums and help page.

swapped with a three sim which worked straight away in the phone, plusnet sim did not work in the other phone.

Number has been ported over today, which I thought might have fixed but no joy, even after turning off/on etc.

And now Magic Mike, the fixer of all things data related is away

My number has just been ported over and like everyone else I can't get a data connection. I have tried changing the APN as suggested but it still doesn't work.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

I also seem to be suffering with the same problems. No data before or after the number swap

Reset APN

Entered manually

Did the turn off routine

New sim is on its way, if it doesn't work, I'll be leaving
