I used a PAC code to transfer my number over to Plusnet and received a new SIM in the post on Tuesday 20th April.
However, the sim is not active - contacted plusnet on the phone and the agent could find no record of the order. I was advised that I would need to work 5 working days while they "looked into the issue" and in the meantime I should wait for an activation email.
Already regret switching to plusnet and will be switching out as soon as possible unless this issue gets resolved promptly.
When asked if I would get reimbursed for each day that it took to resolve, I was told that it was something that may be "looked into". Absolutely ridiculous given that I have been charged upfront for the first month by plusnet and will continue to be charged by my current provider until the switch completes!
Fixed! Go to the fix.
