My monthly bill double

My mobile package allows me 600 minutes and 500 MB of data. I pay £5.26 each month for this. However, I just received a message telling me that this months bill is going to be £10.26. I've been in my account and checked and I've not been charged any extras. Can someone please tell me what is going on.

Okay, I have just discovered that for some unexplainable reason I exceeded the 500 MB of data I am allocated each month. I don't know how this happened because I don't actually use the iPhone, it's just there for an emergency. My mother uses it occasionally to make phone calls, but that's about it. This month, I have been charged £10.26 because my monthly data exceeded 500 MB by 86 MB. I checked my bill and I have been charged just over £6 for using the extra 86 MB. I think this is absolutely disgusting and I am very, very angry. In fact, I'm not even going to bother arguing about it. I will be leaving Plusnet and finding another provider. I just wanted to make it very clear that I think this company is very wrong to charge so much for so little.

I'm sorry to read you're unhappy with the latest invoice you've received and the additional charges added to that invoice. I'd recommend adding on a smart cap to your account (if you don't have one already), which allows you to set a limit you can charged on top of the monthly amount (if you go over your allowances).
