Mobile Phone - Signal Booster.

Hi, As I have very poor indoor mobile signal I was looking at the EE booster or Nokia FAPR - hsp 5000 as options, my question is, has anyone got one of these working with Plusnet mobiles and broadband, I did read that you would need an EE account for their booster but buying a cheap PAYG sim would work, can anyone confirm ?

Re: Mobile Phone - Signal Booster.

HI,

As far as I know, no MVNO has the capability to work with EE boosters (3G nano cells connected via broadband).

Depending on your phone make/model it may be cheaper to look at WiFi calling.

EE suport it on certain devices:

Three have also started supporting it:

Re: Mobile Phone - Signal Booster.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your reply, what I am trying to do is find a way to get a better mobile signal for my Plusnet sim phones and as they use the EE network was hoping to find a way to enable a booster maybe via an EE PAYG sim ...

PS I presume PN dont have a wi-fi calling option Huh
