Lost in Greece with no Data Roaming

So I see there have been several posts on the ability to connect to data whilst roaming. Does anyone have a fix for the below?

My son and I are both on Plusnet Mobile. We are in Greece on holiday - nice.

My phone is getting data access my sons isn't.- hence why I can type this forum post.

I've swapped his sim into my phone - it still doesn't get data

He has plenty of data allowance left 4gig.

He can make phone calls but not use data

The APN settings are all as per the Plusnet recommendations

Having phoned Plusnet they say his account is all fine.

His phone has all of the data roaming switched on - we've done the take the sim out thing for 5 mins, stand on one leg etc etc.

Very curious....any advice greatly received. A fault with the sim maybe? The fact that the sim doesn't work in other devices that I know are getting data using different sims indicates to me that this must be an account setting or a problem with the sim.

Could you please attempt to access data on any of the following networks and let me know if nothing changes?

• Cosmote Mobile Telecom
• Vodafone Greece
• Wind Greece

Yes try to do some manual network changes to see if it makes any difference.

The SIMs (any I mean) can have a "preferred network list" which means if your device is set to Auto it will try and connect to them.

Have a good holiday and it'll take some messing around on manual mode.

Thanks both. I've tinkered with the service provider settings. My son can make calls but no data. He's connected to GR cosmote. See attached screen shots. I'm flummoxed. Data roaming is on. He has allowance and all APN settings as per recommended. It's like the local network won't accept the data requests.
