Internet not working in barbados - roaming issue?

Hi. 

I am in Barbados and it says that I should be able to roam at home in this destination.

I have roaming on & have restarted my phone. 4G is seen as available on the top of my phone but no ability to connect to the Internet. Any ideas?

 

Can't seem able to call plusnet without spending £1.30 a minute....

If i were you I'd be thankful its not working, Data will cost £6/MB (yes MB!) in Barbados.

I'd turn data off quickly, just in case its starts working...

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

At £6,000 per Gb I would expect that just switching the phone on would trigger the smart cap. See https://www.plus.net/help/mobile/roaming-and-international-calls/
