A bit of a strange one really, in mid January whilst I was out shopping, I noticed that I was unable to make calls on my phone or send text msgs. I thought it was a simple issue that would fix itself once I switched it off and on again. Turns out my IMEI number has been blocked, after countless calls to John Lewis (whom I bought the phone from) and Samsung who assured me this is a network level issue. I have spoken to plusnet numerous times too, all I get from them is that they are unable to do anything, they do not barr phones, they will investigate the issue and will send out a new sim card. Its been over 8 weeks and I have still not had a response from them despite the promised 5 days turn around time. Samsung has offered to swap out components within the phone for a cost. Has anyone experienced this? I have pretty much given up now.
