How to remove adult sites content lock?

Hi is this still the correct way to remove content lock?

Do you not have the option on the top right corner of your screen. Scroll up, click on your name.
This is what I have.

Hi white431!

In order to send a PM (along side an initial public post), you also have to ensure that you've verified your email address. 

Once you've done this, it should give you the option to send a Private Message.

My email status is verified already. However, I cannot send PM's and I've posted several messages.
