id be surprised even over PM! Is the plusnet forum system encrypting data on the forums at the backend, if not it shouldnt be storing bank details in PMs!

That should be deleted now, as it was supposed to be a PM.

We will only ever ask for partial bank details. It is also possible to set-up a security question on your 'My account' login page, which will provide an alternate way to speed-up your Data Protection clearance when you need to contact us in the future.
