How to provide 30 days notice

Hello - My contract is coming to an end on 3rd Nov. I would like to leave Plusnet and already requested a PAC code on 6th Oct.

However - how do I provide 30 days notice?

I am likely to transfer my number away on 31 Oct. How would you calculate the 30 days notice? Would I be charged 31 Oct + 30 days, or 6th Oct + 30 days?

Many thanks,

Sammas

Re: How to provide 30 days notice

Hi @sammas

We don’t actually ask for a notice period when porting your number to another provider, so when the port happens we’ll make sure anything you’ve paid for a service you’ve not had since then is accounted for in the final bill.

The 30 days notice is only if you call us to cancel an account without porting anyway.

Hope this helps! But let me know if there’s anything I can do to keep you with us? Smiley

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: How to provide 30 days notice

Sadly I was going to ask the same question this evening, my contract ends last day of November/start of December.

Thanks for the answer.
