How to always send calls to voicemail if I'm already engaged on a call

When I am on a call and someone else calls, the phone gives me the choice of accepting or rejecting the call (is this feature called call waiting?). Is there a way of always sending the second call to voicemail? Thank you if you can help.

Yes it's call waiting.

I know for sure, well on my Android phone anyway, that this is controlled by the phone, not my (not with PN for mobile) provider.

Something like:

Menu - settings - call - additional settings - call waiting

Obviously other phones may not have the features or the same steps to get to the call waiting options.

iPhone it’s settings > phone > call waiting and there’s a toggle

If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'

Fix

Thank you very much for your answers - I found the setting in ( Android 7.0 on handset LG K8 ) :

settings > networks > call > more> addtnl settings > call waiting
