Gotcha - how do I get out of this?

So, I've just switched to PlusNet mobile; I applied to port my number, received a dozen or so emails, one text telling me my port request would be completed yesterday, emails telling me my new number (?) and the sim in the post.  All looked good (other than the new number) until I popped the sim in and got an 'emergency calls only' service, despite 5 bars.

I cannot phone customer service (this is my only phone and I have no service) the online chat is not working, I cannot use my old sim (service disconnected) and I can find no email link to customer services.

It looks to me as though the account was not connected as promised…any ideas?

Just a thought have you checked you phones APN setting see below scroll down to  " What are the APN setting etc  "

I managed to borrow a phone and call customer service - just needed to manually force a change of network service provider
