So I’ve been travelling for the last 11 months. I therefore closed down my Plusnet account to save on costs. My phone was stolen last week in Colombia. I’m now having to log back into all my accounts however everything is connected to my Plusnet number to receive confirmation texts which will allow me to login again.
My predicament is that because my account was closed the sim no longer works. Is it possible to re-open my account with the same number just so I can start logging in to everything again. I have my Plusnet sim with me so if it could be activated it would save me so much hassle.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

How long ago was the account closed down? If it was fairly recently I'd guess that there would be little chance of getting it back. If it's longer then there would be a good chance that it's been reassigned to someone else. I can remember reading something a little while ago that Ofcom guidelines push for them to be recycled pretty quickly.
