Forward calls from mobile to landline after phone theft?

After my mobile was stolen last night, I have now ordered a new SIM card. As the post is very slow and I am dependent on being reachable via my mobile number to get work as a freelancer, can I temporarily have my mobile calls forwarded to my landline?

Re: Forward calls from mobile to landline after phone theft?

The problem with Plusnet mobile is you cannot obtain a replacement SIM card from a shop locally to where you live it has to be posted

The major supplies have local shops where you can get a replacement and they will set it up for you in a short time

When I had a problem with my Three SIM card it was sorted in my local shop within 20 mins I just had to prove who I was

Cost nil I did not even have to pay for the SIM Plusnet used to charge £3.50 don't know if it's now free or gone up

I'm afraid you get what you pay for Plusnet are OK until things go wrong

Fine, but my question was a completely different one.

@hornblack

I believe that the answer to your question is in @Smith7‘s comment ‘you get what you pay for’, that is, it can’t be transferred to your landline.

I think you will find the answer will be no when someone from PN decides to answer

Do you not ask when you ordered a new SIM ?

@Baldrick1

Sorry I was typing my reply

You are correct that's what I was saying

If you have a PN mobile you need a back up phone preferably on another network in case the EE one goes down or you have problems with PN
