Facebook & Messenger No Working When On Data

When I take my phone off the Wi-Fi and go back on facebook is as not internet connection and when I try and send message on maessager it doesn't send but once back on Wi-Fi it works I'm new to Plusnet only been with them for a day so just wondering if anyone could help me out Thank you

Which applications can or cannot access your mobile data is controlled by your mobile phone.  What mobile phone are you up?

I am having the same problem. Just moved to Plusnet this week and can't get onto FB or my K9 email. I understand Plusnet is EE and that was my old provider. Don't see why there should be an issue.

I can't use Facebook or Facebook messager and Im on Samsung device I have done the setting what says but when i do it I can't click the new APN once made it

Yeah its EE and I don't get it all and my other half doesn't as its only them two apps that don't work annoying

I also have similar problem but mine is my Signal app not working while using data.

It's quite annoying.

Besides, when I sent out SMS, it didn't show my correct phone number (my original one as I changed to plusnet with my old number). It's really frustrated and I don't know where / who can help me to fix it.

I seem to have solved the problem by speaking to Brian in the Plusnet call centre. He went through a few things and finally did a 'soft reset' which seems to made everything work.

Glad to hear you got sorted I might have to ring them again as when I rang yesterday they didn't understand and now sending me a new sim out Thank you for your comment I will see if they can help me now thanks again
