Doro 6520 issues with receiving MMS messages

Hi

I've just switched my mum in law to plusnet from ee and she has the above phone. Whilst with EE she could receive picture messages but since the switch we cant get them. Trawling through the Doro manual i think i have narrowed the issue down to needing a new MMS profile and , in conjunction with other posts on here i have entered info such as Account name, APN, User name, password proxy address and port but am also asked for

Homepage

Connection type

user name

Password

and i dont know where to look. Anyone any ideas?

@bds Do the settings here https://www.plus.net/help/mobile/mobile-phone-and-voicemail-settings/#what-are-the-apn-settings-for-... help? Or are those you’ve already used?

APN: eezone
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
MMSC: http://mms/
MMS Proxy: 149.254.201.135:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576

Thanks Thrall, yes it was the link you posted that i had already followed, will try again with you APN name of eezone rather than everywhere to see if that helps, beyond me all this

Re: Doro 6520 issues with receiving MMS messages

no unfortunately it didn't work, i just get a message on the phone i send the picture from "message not sent service not activated on network, mobile data is turned off, check your settings", ordinary text messages are fine.

The phone menu on the Doro phone isn't exactly the same as per your suggested post and I am not positive i am putting things in the right area, it is just similar. What i mean is the options on my Menu  go Menu, Settings, Connectivity, Internet Profile, and then i am asked to enter Account Name,(ee internet) APN (eezone), Username (eesecure), password (secure), homepage (have left blank), connection type (http) use proxy(yes), proxy address (149.254.201.135), proxy port,(8080) username (eesecure), password(secure)

I have also been into Settings, Messages, MMS settings, MMS Profile and also put the above answers to the same questions in there but it doesn't work.

I cant see where else i can update
