Does the contract start at the point of when I activate my SIM?

Hi,

I've not yet activated my SIM but reading through the emails it suggests my SIM is active and I also checked under by account and it informs me that I have 27 days left remaining on my allowance.

Upon signing up I clarified that my existing contract with another provider ends towards the end of the month and that I would provide the PAC code then and that it was confirmed to me only then would my account be active.

Can I have someone look into this matter as I tried to use the online chat and it says it's not available and my current provider has done something to my SIM card despite still being in contract till the end of the month and therefore I can't call the service numbers.

Thanks!

I'm afraid you were  given incorrect information. Your account would have been activated with a new number 1 day after the sim was due to arrive. When you provide the PAC, then your existing number will transfer but that will not affect the account , which will remain active from the original date.
