Does Giving My new Operator My PAC End My Contract?

I got my PAC on Thursday & I've given it to giffgaff so will this automatically terminate my contract with Plusnet?

Thanks for getting in touch with us.
To cancel your 30 day rolling SIM only contract, we do require for you to call our cancellations team on 500 free from the SIM, or 0800 079 1133 and place 30 days notice of termination.
If you use the PAC without placing 30 days notice, this will automatically close the account down however, any final bill will still be owed and valid.
When a bill is produced and we don't receive payment, if any credit is left on the account, this will be used towards covering the cost of the final bill.
I would advise to call us on 0800 079 1133 and the cancellations team can advise of any final billing information in relation to your account.
