Damage Insurance Claim - Proof of Usage

Hi,

I need to show a proof of usage document for a damage insurance claim. I need to provide a document that shows my name and address, make and model of the device, IMEI number, date of purchase and first usage.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get through to anyone on the Plusnet phone lines.

Hi there,

I’m afraid we can’t provide a proof of usage as we wouldn’t have provided the phone so we can’t ‘prove’ you own it. 

This topic has been discussed a few times in the past and in these cases, there seems to be another way for an insurance company to process the claim. 

What that way is I don’t know unfortunately, but I’d recommend advising them we can’t provide the proof of usage and see if there’s an alternative.
