Closed account

Getting annoyed now......

Mobile number 447******889

Unfortunately, we've not been able to take your Direct Debit payment. Because of this we've restricted your service to only allow usage of your plan allowance of minutes/texts/data.

Please make a payment as soon as you can by logging in to My Account, or you can call us for free on 500 from your Plusnet mobile. If after 48 hours we've not had a payment, we will have to restrict your service further.

Restrict it all you want PN - the account has been closed for months!

Stop hassling me and sort your billing system out!

Re: Closed account

Received another email about this closed account yesterday.

Mind you it's reassuring to know that my £0.00 credit will be applied to the account!

Re: Closed account

Lets hope you do it better than

@MasterOfReality

@Gandalf

@BD

and all the PN staff who failed to do it competently before they failed to do it competently ..

especially the one who didn't do it competently to start off with, setting the low standard you all appear to be downholding ..

oops

Silly me

@OllieC wasn't offering/pretending to do anything

... Just passing the buck ... and presumably passing the customer back to where it all originally failed ...

 perhaps repeatedly

Wheres that dropping the ball gif

Re: Closed account

@Mayfly

Have you got anywhere with this?

Seems clear PN don't want their ongoing failures up for all to see.

That doesn't mean we should allow that.

Re: Closed account

@RobC no I haven't contacted them yet, I'm sorry to say I other fish to fry at the moment but will try to get hold of the mobile dept this afternoon.

I'm not sure why I have to do it actually seeing as it have been acknowledged on here that the account is closed, I would have thought an internal email would suffice.

+1

Particularly as I thought the staff on forums were supposed to the creme and a cut above (despite probably still doing that as well) the ordinary run of the mill phone staff  who wouldn't be allowed anywhere near a visible medium ..

Doesn't bode well does it.

I would PM one of the staff with a PM clearly headed 'Formal Complaint' detailing the issue and the number of contacts you have already made, and NOT accept any claims that that is invalid.

You need to be prepared to properly press and progress the complaint though. Too many just give up as its considered not worth the effort ... until perhaps you find some entry from PN on your credit file as some are finding.

.. at which stage I would be issuing a formal complaint with some short but reasonable time-scales (7-14 days) and preparing a letter before action for a small claims court as well as the more traditional routes.
