Charging me money even after account is closed.

I have closed my Mobile account on 2nd July 2020., As email confirmation was also there from plusnet on that date with message..

We really would hate for you to go. You’ve been a great Plusnet Mobile customer and we think these offers could be right up your street. Or just give us a call on 500 from your Plusnet mobile or 0800 079 1133 from any other phone.

However, Come their billing time I was again charged regular fee for july statement when I haven't given any permission to them to reinstate the service.

I dont want to pay for this and I want to complain on this., through Chat or Email where I will have written proof. All they are giving option is to Phone.(Chat was Offline) It is not going to give me any proof's to later escalate the complaint if it's through phone. Moreover I'm stuck outside the country due to Covid restrictions and now can't use Phone to UK number as it's roaming. Need this to be solved ASAP. How come Plusnet Auto Renew my account when I clearly closed the account? Why is it hell bent on over charging me? 

Help me how to contact any email senior service person for escalation? or help me how I can close the reinstate version for good all without any excess charges..

So we can investigate further can you PM me the following?

  • Your mobile number or account number
  • Your full address and postcode
  • Your full name and if you're the account holder?

I'm not sure how long this Matthew Wheeler wants me to wait., May be an Year? or a Decade?

I have sent him PM as asked here like 72 hours back and yet to hear anything from him.

Not sure why the Staff wanted to ask for PM., May be that way they no longer have accountability to answer the queries publicly?

Can the Man Matthew Wheeler or whoever staff stand up and live for real and solve this? Rather than just replying soothing words without any action?

I Clearly don't know is it just for me or for everyone staff's treatment will be like this?

After the Staff asked me for PM and I provided., I have been waiting for 2 weeks without any reply.

It is clearly shambolic for them to treat a customer like this and I clearly do not know where to do the complaint system that gets recorded and thus accountable. (like email/chat online)

I think since the longer they keep this complaint open the longer they can charge from me. Plusnet is hellbent on not solving this discussion and in turn keep charge me money inspite of the account was closed.

I don't deserve to be treated like this and whoever staff replying to this post., I please ask not to do any PM again.

I  have been cheated twice already with false promises through PM and I don't want to be cheated again with that suggestion.

How are the payments being taken viv? You should be able to dispute them with your bank. Hopefully you do have full and written proof of account closure so it's game, set and match if PN dispute any Direct Debit repayment or card chargeback.
