Cancelling 30 day sims

I've had problems cancelling my two 30 day mobile sims before a few years ago and it looks like the same might be happening again.
I phoned CS on 12th October to cancel two sims and was told that the sims would be closed from 11th November but I have not received any confirmation of this.
I'm just wondering should I have had an email or text confirming this ?

No we don't send email or text confirmation when we terminate a mobile account.
If you'd like us to double check your accounts are closed, feel free to private message me the following information.
+Your mobile number
+Your full name
+Your full address
+Are you the account holder?
+Your date of birth
+Last 2 digits of your bank account number
+Last 2 digits of your bank sort code
