Depends what you want to do
Do you want to port your number to a new provider because you can get a better deal
Or just cancel/stop your PN contract ?
Worth remembering you pay in advance so you have already paid until your next billing date

Number will be ported out via PAC, no issue there. It was really a question of whether it's just a case of porting out just before renewal or whether a notice period is required.
