Can’t send texts

As the subject says. This is the second time since I joined Plusnet mobile on 30/10/18 that my text service has failed. Last time was late November and many others had the same problem then. Neither my wife or I can send texts. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Yes, same for me, my partner can't send too and it's also second time it happened.

I can't send texts either. My mom can't as well

Trying to call Customer Support to report problem but very busy so maybe others are reporting it.

I'm in the  North Midlands ex Life mobile and I can send and receive Texts so not a national problem

Just had a live chat and they said a lot of plusnet customers have been cut off because of problems at their end. It's affecting texts and data. I think calls are ok.

Similar response from Customer Services. At least they now know about it and hopefully will resolve soon.

I've lost texts and data too. I also have a work EE phone, and that's working fine, so it's a PlusNet problem.

I just tried sending a text and it worked.

We're aware that some Plusnet Mobile customers may be experiencing SMS problems. We're working hard on a fix and will keep you updated

Yes, my text service is now working OK as well.

What is the solution?  Lots of security questions need a text message response.

PollyW - Does that mean you’ve been unable to send any texts for the whole time since my original posting a week ago? If so, I suspect you have a totally different problem to me and the others who posted on here. In that case, I would advise you to contact Plusnet customer support to get your issue resolved.
