Calling 150 from abroad

I've just had an SMS message indicating that someone was talking to an EE advisor about my account and giving a pin. It said that if it wasn't me to dial 150 immediately, But I'm in the Netherlands so 150 doesn't work. How do I contact 150?

That sounds a bit strange! The customer service no for Plusnet mobile is 500 not 150 and it should be available anywhere

Re: Calling 150 from abroad

Yes, strange, and the SMS said it was from EE not Plusnet,

So, I don't need +44 or anything to get through to 500?

Edit: Called 500, got through no problem without +44 or anything. The SMS must have been a scam to be ignored.

It did sound a bit 'scammy' but what they hope to achieve by getting you to call 150 I'm not sure?
