Calling 09 numbers?

So, I have been trying to vote for Eurovision tonight (I know, but I am an adult and capable of making my own mistakes). Neither the short code mobile nor the "full" 09 number will connect.

Is this another example of Plusnet trying to save me from myself (aka providing a sub par service), or am I just unlucky?

At present, the system doesn't support the use of short code numbers, so I'm afraid any attempts to connect will be unsuccessful. 

With regards to the 09 number you dialled, this is classed as a Premium Rate number; you'll need to ensure that your Premium services are enabled on the account for you to make calls to this service.
