Having the same issues with both my wife and my mobiles.
plusnet signal checked say good signal ofcom checker says poor somebody must be stretching the truth.
Lots of missed calls, bars show strongly then disappear, not steady enough signal to use for banking or internet commerce. Poor response when asking plusnet.
if we are to use 4G when 3G is turned off plusnet is not the answer.
if signal can’t be improved will have to switch suppliers

I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your mobile signal and apologies for the delayed response.
If you haven't got this sorted yet, could you turn your phone off, take out your SIM then put it back in and turn your phone back on? If you're still having issues following this, private message me the following details and we can take a closer look.
+Your mobile number
+Your full name
+Your full address
+Are you the account holder?
+Your date of birth
+Last 2 digits of your bank account number
+Last 2 digits of your bank sort code
