Anyone own a signal booster?

I have just moved and have got almost no signal on plusnet. I have heard you can buy ee signal boosters does anyone use one? If so where did you buy it? Was it brand new? How much did it cost? Have you had any problems?

We don't support or provide the use of EE signal booster boxes. If you purchase an EE booster box, you're more than welcome to try this however, we cannot guarantee that this will work.

When I used EE I had poor signal at home and complained frequently to EE. They offered a signal box but only if I would go on a contract (I was on PAYG), but would not sell one. There were some available on Ebay, however you needed to have an account (either broadband or mobile) in order to register and use the device. I'm not sure if this is still the case as I changed networks to get a stronger signal and never needed to keep up to date with the technology
