Adjusting Settings for Sending Media Content

Just purchased a new phone (Nokia Lumia 830) and tried to send a text message with a photo attached. However, upon pressing the send button, I received the following error message:

Can't send media content. Contact your mobile operator to adjust your settings.

 

Since I can't  find anything alluding to this problem on Plusnet's site, does anyone know a fix?
