Will PlusNet mobile offer 5G connections when available?

Re: 5G?

I was tempted to click the "This fixed my problem" button in a "NOT" type of sarcasm, but people who didn't get my meaning might have become concerned for my state of mind Smiley

Re: 5G?

Hello @IngeJones

We currently have no information regarding 5G connection and when we will be looking at facilitating this service.

Should you require any further assistance, please do get back in touch with us.

Many thanks.

Re: 5G?

According to this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46195282 it will be available via EE network in my area from the middle of this year.  I was trying to gauge whether it would be worth me going for a 5G phone as I am planning to get a new one this year, and am intending to keep my account with Plusnet.   Any idea when your people might know by?

Re: 5G?

Fix
I suspect we'll be waiting a while as PN is a budget arm - so like EE first, then BT followed by PN.

Re: 5G?

Thanks, that's at least something to go by.  Might be time to fit in one more normal 4G phone then in the meantime Smiley
