30 Day contracts better for New Customers?

I am trying to change my sim only plusnet deal to a new one, my current one is £6.30 om for 2gig data, unlimited texts and calls.

I logged into my account and it gives me the option to change to £8.50 for 5.5Gig data, unlimited texts and calls, but when I check out the main front page, go to Mobile > Sim Only Deals (as a current plusnet customer, it says £6 pm, 4Gig data, unlimited calls and texts.

I just want to know, why am I not offered the same deals as a new customer? That doesn't seem fair

you can usually get the same deals, you just need to ring up and speak to them.

Re: 30 Day contracts better for New Customers?

Thanks.

Yes I am aware. Been with these guys for over 15 years (good old adsl days, and before ; )

I was just a little annoyed that in my account, I am offered a worse deal as an upgrade than I could get if I logged out.

They do want to sort that out as it has gone on for many years (with broadband and Fibre) and it doesn't make long standing original customers feel great, which I am sure one can understand.

I don't disagree - have to go through it myself and with 3 sims can be time consuming!
