First batch of migrations

Hi guys,
Heads up about this Planned Maintenance post I've just made. Basically we're looking to start the first batch of live test migrations first thing next week.
Those of you who subscribe to the Email or RSS feeds may have seen the not so deliberate mistake I made when I first tried posting the announcement. Can't imagine it'll be long before the conspiracy theorists arrive!... Wink

Re: First batch of migrations

Embarrassed
So far, so good with this morning's migrations. Assuming nothing unexpected arises, then we'll be migrating most of the remaining inactive accounts tonight/tomorrow morning. We'll be making a decision at about 4:00pm this afternoon and I'll update the migration timeline post as soon as we know what's happening.

Re: First batch of migrations

Yesterday's migrations went without hitch. We've now 70,000 non-subscription accounts on the IronPort platform. Tonight, we'll probably look at moving Metronet customers across (who don't have access to Manage My Mail anyway).
Depending on the progress we make over the coming hours this third batch might also include residential Force9 & Free Online customers, excluding those using Quarantine or those with mailing lists.

If you're talking about email headers, then not quite as interesting as Postini I'm afraid! Grin

Re: First batch of migrations

Just having a look now Pierre. Hopefully it's not related as we're due to do some more migrations tomorrow morning. I was just about to post the Service Status.

Re: First batch of migrations

I take it there's nothing in the header to indicate passage through IronPort of non-spam emails?

This account received the notification email.

Hi Strat, are you saying that this account received the notification email saying that it had been migrated? If so, is it an account that's regularly used? The headers you've provided show an email that's been sent directly via the mx.core's/mx.last's.
Can you PM me the email address it was sent to?
