A month ago from my previous provider BT saying that I had been with them for something like 4300 days and they wanted to thank me being a loyal customer. Then last week I got the email stating that prices would go up in January by over £5 per month.
I phoned BT up as my contact is up this week to see if there was a deal they could do for recontracting and the best they would do was take the £5 per month off, yeah no thanks.
Then I spotted the PN 22.99 fibre deal at the moment and have taken then up on the deal, it's over £30 per month less than what I was paying BT and as I only get 38-40 megabits per sec it is pretty much all I need.
Since then BT have emailed me with a "better" deal of £38 per month for broadband but it is still £15 a month more than what I have just signed up for.
So hopefully everything will go ok when we migrate.
