I recently applied to upgrade my ADSL to FTTC and noticed in the member centre that a Netgear WNR1000 router has been sent out (apparently anyway - it's been a few days now I'm sure) and was wondering if it wll support IPv6? (I'm on the trial)
Having done some searching around it seems that some versions of it do, but I am mindful that presumably this one will carry Plusnet firmware? I've seen some earlier threads mentioning some level of (limited) support but wondered if things had moved on?
I am currently using a TG582n (no USB port, ADSL firmware) and wondered if, as a fallback option, can one of the FTTC firmwares be installed on to it or is the 'with/without USB port' aspect significant?

I think you will find when the "WNR1000" actually arrives it says TG582n on the box. I believe WNR1000 is used as an ordering code to differentiate the ADSL and fibre versions of the TG582n.

Pretty much what spraxyt says, we no longer supply the WNR1000 so it'll be a 582n you get.

Aha! Thanks both.
Obvious when you think about it...
Finger's crossed it arrives in time!
