my home phone rings about 4 times before going to voicemail, is there a way to change it to make it longer as 4 rings is barely enough time to reach it before it stops
Assuming you have the free 1571 service (and not an answering machine!) then you can't change the number of rings. To do so you need Voicemail Extra which is £3/month http://www.plus.net/support/phone/call_features.shtml#voicemail That said, I thought it should be 7 rings so perhaps there is a config error.
