remove answer phone

since coming to plusnet home phone and broadband im bombarded with the nuisance calls. Have caller id so can decide if i want to answer or not. but i cant work out how to turn off the plusnet answermachine facility.  dont want it as they just leave message, usuall a robot.
for Plustnet please disable my answerphone, if i want it on i have my own. thank you
