Why have PN changed the "free" call from 6p.m - 6a.m to 7p.m - 7a.m? I make most of my calls when I arrive home from work, and am often going out again by 7p.m.
I made a contract with Plusnet because the free call times were convenient for me. Can you explain why they were changed? Is my contract now invalidated, as PN
have altered the terms? If not - why not?

Unfortunately it looked like a marketing email which may be why you didn't read it properly.

I left TalkTalk in October because of a long dispute over their failure to provide my Broadband on the terms originally agreed. They did not charge me for leaving before my contract had finished, because they did not fulfill it properly. I want to know why Plusnet's times have been changed. Is it so that Plusnet can save money, because a lot of people use their phones between 6 & 7p.m ?
I hope that Plusnet can give me a rational explanation.

You have every right to take your business elsewhere.

I don't think that has any bearing on why PN did so (apart from to bring them into line with their parent co)

Quote Resellers pass on the charges of BT Wholesale.
seeing as PN setup cost is 0.5p less than BT
Daytime calls on PN 6.4ppm, on BT 7ppm
Evening PN 6.4ppm, BT 1ppm
for instance.

BT Retail changed over a year ago (I know - I'm a BT customer)
PN changed at the start of this year
IF BT Wholesale dictate the costs - why the differential in when providers changed their off-peak times?
