number withheld

Every time i ring out my number comes up ,how do i stop this ,there is nothing in the control panel i can see to do this

'Permanent Withheld' is available by request, and a PN staffer who sees this thread will take it on board.

Once in place, CLI can be released on individual calls by prefixing with 1470.

Meanwhile you can withhold CLI on individual calls by prefixing with 141.

I've just arranged that for you now. Your phone number should be withheld [with 1470 override] within 24 hours.

I tried to have our number withheld permanently and was told this facility wasn't available with plusnet. please help.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. When I saw the previous post regarding permanently withheld numbers I contacted customer service by phone and your colleague kindly arranged to set it up. I really appreciate your help as well.
