no phone or broadband since 30th may....

Hmmm
Everything stopped on Saturday 30th afternoon.
Rang Plusnet & reported, ticket raised 20221567.
Openreach to act by Wednesday 3rd.
Wednesday 3rd 15:00hrs a text rcd saying engineer assigned, then travelling, then started. Nobody been at this end.
About 4pm I look on the openreach fault status link (from the text updates they sent) to see "engineer cannot fix fault. If you still have issues get in touch with provider"...
What happens now & how long is this charade likely to take please?
Cheers
Opal

If PN haven't previously checked your phone circuit from their end, they'll do that to see if there's a fault with your internal phone wiring. Rectifying that is at customer's cost Sad

So does your phone line work? Have you got dial tone?

Have you gone back to PN via the ticket?

Re: no phone or broadband since 30th may....

As per thread title - nothing works phone nor bband.

I was wondering what would happen re ticket & whether I would be helping or hindering by adding notes to it.

I just checked & the PN CSCs have been on the case. As I suspected the engineer did not make a start yesterday as they ran out of time. Apparently they or someone are back on it this afternoon. Another review on Friday a.m.

Belay that! Now on hold til Monday 8th....
What's the odds? :-!

Guess we'll have to sit tight & cobble together some bandwidth from somewhere else for homeschool & working from home.

Thanks
