new phone account confirming ex directory

Hi I would like to confirm that my new phone number is going to be ex directory, tried to call but after being on hold twice for 15 &18 minutes will try here

I signed-up to Plusnet yesterday and the sales agent said all phone numbers are configured to be ex-directory automatically
unless requested otherwise.
I am sure somebody will verify.
